DIFFICULT TIME !

Late last night my mother was rushed to the hospital after suffering a heart attack. I just got home after spending the night in the waiting area and thank God her prognosis seems to be quite good at this point. This came as quite a shock as she had no history of heart problems and was in good health. Having lost my dad when I was fourteen this has really hit home and being the eldest of three sons I have more or less taken over as the head of the immediate family. I just wanted to let all my wonderful friends on Op know that I probably will not be online for a while. At this rather difficult time I have of course canceled my trip to Boston for the marathon and have put everything else on the back-burner for the time being. Thanks for your friendship and understanding..it has meant a lot to me....hugs...Ash

I can't express how much I value each and every message I've received here on Op.....it has been such a privilege to have made so many wonderful friends. I attempt to answer each and every message but I would ask for your patience right now as work has become very busy..this being the busy time of year in my particular field and at the same time I'm attempting to make up for lost time and get ready to do the Boston marathon in less than two weeks. In addition, several responses seem to have gone missing into a cyber void so if you haven't heard from me please get in touch again and I'll endeavor to get back to you as soon as I possibly can. In the past couple of weeks I've received most welcome messages from two or three particular individuals who asked me to respond only to find they had opted out of receiving e-mails here and had that feature turned off or blocked. Please check your setting as I "WOULD" like to get back to you. Again...my profound thanks to all those guys who have taken the time to get in touch....I really appreciate it.....Hugs...have a wonderful weekend...Asher
