Cell Phones and Pet Pevs.

One of my biggest Pet Pevs are how people use their cell phones.
Many times when I have been out on the road driving,I have seen people too busy talking on their cell phones to drive.Their driving is arctic at best.They cut other drives off,run red lights and the such.And what the kicker is they don't seem to care.
It's not just while driving.
I work in retail.I work in a Grocery Store,in a department that deals with alot of customers.
Many times I will have to deal with customers that expect to be helped,but are to engrossed on their cell phones gossiping.They want help,but at the same time seem put out that they have to stop their phone convo to tell me what they want.
You know these same people would consider it rude if I were on the phone while helping them.
Sorry for the rant.But this is just one of my Pet Pevs.
Does any one else feel the same,or have any other Pet Pevs?

Ok I have alittle what if for everyone.
I'm interested in everyone's thoughts and reactions.
You are at work.Some one you don't know walks up to you and hands you a Hotel room key with the room number and Hotel name.He then turns and walks away.The whole time he doesn't say a word.
What would you do?

Earrings?

So I just got home alittle bit ago from my local Wally World.
I bought me some shoes for work and a few other little things.
As I was at the checkout I noticed at the checkout next to me a boy and his Dad.The kid was around 12 years old or so.
I noticed that he was wearing earrings...one in each ear.
They were Black loop kinda thick earrings...typical of what I would
think of a guy wearing.
But what I kinda got me was that he was a young kid.
Then I got to thinking to myself....if he were a girl would I have
given it a second thought....No I wouldn't have.And that kinda bothered me....Why did I get alittle shocked at a kid with earrings
just cause the kid was a Boy?
The boy was a happy healthy normal looking kid.That just happened to be wearing earrings.No Biggie at all.
It just caught me off guard for a sec that he was young.Now mind you
if he were in his 20's or older I probably wouldn't have given it a second thought either.
Now don't get me wrong...I not making a BIG deal about it...It just
kinda surprised me alittle I guess.
So I was wondering what you guys thought.
Young Boys with earrings?

Dinner and a Date.

So tonite I took my mom out to eat to a Logan's SteakHouse.
I had originally had plans to hook up with this little Hottie I've
been messing around with tomorrow nite.
Well on my way to the restaurant (with my mom in the car),I get a text from the guy.Turns out he can't hook up tomorrow nite,and was
wanting to hook up tonite instead.So we get to the restaurant and I text him back,sure after I finish dinner.He's cool with that and I
continue to have dinner with my mom.
After we ordered, my mom get's all excited and asks me if I saw that.
I look at her and say...Saw what?
She says....That other waitress just checked you out big time.
I had missed it and looked at my mom and said...yea right whatever.
FYI my mom doesn't know I'm gay.
So apparently the waitress checks me out a few more times during the meal, and of course my mom is making a BIG deal about it...LOL!
My mom is making comments like.....Oh she is cute....I bet she would make a good mother.
So the whole time I am rolling my eyes like crazy...LOL!
And meanwhile I have a play date planned for after dinner with this Hot guy.....LOL!
So I was able to get my mom out of there without getting myself embarrassed.LOL!
My mom was a step away from getting the girls name...geez...LOL!
She's my mom and I know she means well.
So I was able to get out of the restaurant without getting a girlfriend in the process....LOL!
So that was my evening.I hope everyone had an enjoyable one.

Ok I haven't blogged in a few weeks....Just been lazy I guess...LOL!
I've had a few ideas for blogs,but just haven't gotten myself in the mood to write them.LOL!
So I decided to sit down and write a little blog to get myself back
in the mood.
I had my review at work a few weeks ago and got a little of a raise.
Not much of one,But hey...every little bit helps.
I have some family come into town this afternoon.My uncle, aunt and one of my cousins.They are only staying a few days....They leave on
Sunday.
My uncle bought my pickup truck so that's the reason for the visit.
They came down to pick it up.
It's nice cause I haven't seen either of my cousins for several years.So it's nice to get to see at least one of them...LOL!
Other than that life has just been moving right along.
well I guess that's it for now guys.

I just want to wish everyone A Merry Christmas,And Happy Holidays!
I hope everyone Has a Happy,Fun and Safe Holiday.
I plan on spending it with the only family I have here in Florida,My mom.
I know I know....AAAAAWWWWWW isn't that sweet......LOL!
