Yes Sport we took the trio with us, they had fun in the mountains. Thank goodness they didn't meet any bears, or they would have been having bear for dinner LOL.
My friend took us on a short walk to a creek by his cabin before we headed toward the falls. I got this picture of the hounds by the creek. We didn't take them to the falls, they would have not made the 425 steps to the top of the falls lol.

Sorry for the late post, it's been a hectic week. Kev and I spent last weekend with some friends at their cabin in the Blue-ridge mountains. The picture was taken at the Amicalola Falls State Park.

Y'all this past weekend I have had the pleasure and honor to meet two great guys from this site. Reallygoodguy and Sauveriki and I have been chat friends for awhile and trying to get together.
At the same time, I met a friend of RGG's. D is a super sweet guy.
RGG and Riki picked Kev and I up last Saturday and took us into Atlanta. We meet D and went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Good food and awesome company. Then off to a club/bar for Riki to dance, since he loves to dance.
Riki stayed at my place Saturday night, Kev and I took him to the mall. RGG came over for dinner. As I hugged them goodbye, I got chocked up. Wasn't ready for them to leave.
This weekend Kev and I are riding up with a friend to the North Georgia mountains.

Truth To The Rumors....

For awhile now there has been rumors spreading of up coming layoffs. I took those rumors just as that, work place rumors intended to cause sheer panic. Well today three people were laid off. Two from my shop and one truck driver with more to come.
As of now because of seniority I am safe. The two guys from my shop I really didn't care working with them, but hated to see that they lost their jobs.
The months ahead is going to be scary.

Sunday Dinner

Next weekend two friends will visiting from out of town. One from North Carolina and the other from New York. I am planning on what to fix them for dinner, I love to cook and try new recipes. So far what I plan on making is stuffed pork chops with goat cheese and apricots. I will post the recipe depending on how dinner turns out.

While walking the dogs after work today, I found a monarch butterfly relaxing in a clump of zebra grass. After grabbing my camera, I went out to take a couple of photographs before she flew off. I noticed that there was two butterflies in the process of mating.
