So I don't really have a blog, once again - thus, I'll post what I posted o'er there in which I blogged about moi latest ZillaFlick and what's the up, pup.
I am at this veddy mome attempting to upload the latest ZillaMovie, which is built of imagery that I raided from Thor-Rex's post featuring photographs from Michael Paul Smith.
So this is a shorter ZillaMovie than usual, and the only thing I want to say about it 'tis that I ZillaClined moi version of Patsy Cline's "Walking After Midnight" to use as a soundtrack ~ I think it might be irritatin' for some ears, but it sounds rawther awesome for moi cup handles. Anywho, I hope 'tis not blocked by the powers that be, 'cuz this is a really uber ZillaMovie and it needs to see the light of the innerwebz.
In other more or less exciting news, I was able to run over six miles today, which was great because yesterday I could only pull off three miles ~ and truth be told, 'twas really frustrating to only be able to run that far; I'm not a natural athlete, but I've gotten to a certain level of activity that I need to do in order to feel like I want to feeeeeeeeel, and 'tis a knock upside the noggin when I can't git 'er done.
So, it appears moi ZillaFlick is ready to glow glow glow, yo! Hopefully 'twill play here, but if not then there'll be other ZillaFilms. Smooches, Z
BTW: this is an image from the latest ZillaMovie; alas 'tis not one of moi photos, but 'tis the work of Michael Paul Smith, who creates miniatures of a town that ne'er was and photographs 'em up, pup:

I posted a ZillaFilm o'er there, so I'll post a photo that was featured in the ZillaFlick o'er here to keep things on the up and up, pup.
This is the Montlake bridge, and I took this pic last Sunday, which was a sunny day - today is cloudy with a chance of rain, which is nice: I'm the sort that loves sunshine, but I also love clouds and rain and whatnot - and too much sunlight can be a bit much for moi delicate sensibilities; although when I live in places with lots of sunlight I've been fine, fine.
So that's today's post; not much but 'tis all I've got; in the morrow I get moi stitches out - they were going to use the kind that get absorbed into the system, but decided to go with the other kind that need to be removed. Anywho, hope all is well with ya'll and cum again,
Smooches, Z

Like those creatures who post a blog lamenting they're leaving blogland only to rise from the ashes of their despair after folks convince 'em to stay just a little bit longer, I got oot oot and aboot on ZillaBike3D after wondering if I'd e'er do so again after moi recent flirtation with disaster.
It wasn't quite as dramatic as a blogger's rebirth, unfortunately; 'twas basically no big deal once I got on ZillaBike3D and started down the bike path; there were a few minor moments when I felt a bit of urgwa, but for the most part 'twas fine fine and dandy; I haven't gotten back on the road yet, though so perhaps that'll be full of dramatics ~ folks often say they hate drama, but I've noticed that hating something is close to love in some cases.
And here's something else to love love love: the first ZillaMovie I built since the accident - I'll post a photo on OP - and I think this work shows a more mature and contemplative Zill. OK, that's a bit of la-di-da/BS, but it doesn't contain any cycling footage, so 'tis slower paced at least; and the tune is, once again, The Doors "L.A. Woman," which I used in moi freeway porn video ~ I'm not a huge fan of the Doors or Jimi Hendrix, but I love Janis Joplin, so I'm into at least one of the three J's.
So that's today's post, which is kinda about firsts for doing something that's been done; and orange youse thriZILLed to've tuned in once again like sin, yin?
Smooches, Z
BTW: this photo is taken at Green Lake, which looks blue in this pic, but 'tis not because they don't just name things erroneously; that'd be erroneous, and the world just doesn't work that way.

I had a cycling accident last night, and I'm a bit down for the count today, so I prolly won't get to comments and such, and there won't be a ZillaMovie (the last one I uploaded has been banned in the U.S., tho' it might be avail elsewhere) ; nonethelest, I'm fine, though there were a few horrific moments - I thought that I might've cut through an artery because there was so much blood, and I could feel it pumping the compress, and so and and so forth; but all's well, and I'm taking it easy today, though no cycling for a while, and I have to shower around the bandage for 48 hours.
Anywho, that's today's post; hope olive ya'll're awesome and have a uber weekend, Z

The Z-Word

So I Finnished reading "To Kill a Mockingbird," which is uber-awesome, and I was thinking about this book in light of the year 2012; because books from long ago (TKaM is from the early 1960s) can come across as fussy and outdated ~ which I think TKaM avoids in many respects ~ and in some ways 'tis prolly harder hitting now that 'twas then.
One example is that the N-word is used throughout, and fortunately as far as I know there haven't been any enlightened creatures who've seen fit to build a version without the N-word ala Huck Finn. I am the sort of creature who doesn't agree with banning words, and there isn't any word that is off limits for moi, because I'm a contextualist: i.e.; the meaning of any word depends on the context in which 'tis used, even though I wouldn't use some words in certain times and places.
And I suppose "faggot" will eventually become the N-word in the future, though of course one can't predict the future based on history, because history is our imperfect reconstruction of the past, and trend is not destiny, and maybe folks'll get onboard the ZillaTrain of Whirrled Peas and whatnot, robot.
Regardlest, e'en though I'm the sorta critter who views banning words as akin to murder, I still tend to judge folks who use such words as n*****r, f****t, r*****d in certain ways as common and unwashed; oh yah, there are those who say we otter not judge folks lest we go mental, but I'm a rather swift and harsh judge of folks, and one wrong stepola and I usually don't give folks many more steps, if any; because let's face it: there's lots of funawesome folks in the world, and if I hang 'round folks be choice they'd best have some there there ~ and I was just thinking that I have friends who use n*****r, f*****t, and r*****d the wrong way, which just goes to show that ideals are great, but rules are built to be broken records, eh?
Anywho, in other news: I'm posting a ZillaFlick*** that I took on a morning run a bit ago, and 'twas the same route I ran this morning; but I enjoyed today's run much more, because I didn't have the camera with moi. Even though I love love love taking pics and vids, they do get in the way of living at times, and I'm glad to've already documented this route so I don't have to, eh?
So this ZillaFilm: an awesome early live version of "Rhiannon" ~ a rougher and rawer version, and there's even a bit of feedback ~ herky jerky camera work interspersed with stills, and ZillaTawk ~ and disgusting heavy breathing at times, even though I wasn't running balls out; nonethelest, 'tis hard to film and talk and run all at once, and even though this was a shorter run it took a lot more energy than some of moi longer runs.
Anywhat, hopefully there'll be many many many more runs in the future: moi legs seem to be feeling the miles lately, and everytime I feel aches and pains I wonder how long I can keep on keepin' on ~ I'm the sort who tends to overdo things, and then get back on track of showing a bit of restraint, only to try to shake the cage a little; running: 'tis so much like life, eh?
Smooches, Z
*** obv not on this site; howEV, I'll post a photo from yesterday's adventures featuring a high angle view of Puget Sound.

Yesterday's bromantic interlude with R-Rex was uber, and I'll spare youse the details, except to say that he hasn't seen Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and I didn't realise how much younger he is than moi - he's 38 and I'm 44, so that is a 6 year difference, which means he was about six years old when CE3K was originally released, and I don't think 'tis the kind of movie ala "Star Wars" or even "Jaws" that is enjoyed by multiple generations which makes moi love CE3K all the more, 'cuz I usually pick something just a bit outside the mainstream but still mainstream.
Whew! I hadn't actually intended to blog about CE3K yet again, but the first part of this blog turned out to be about that, so we'll leave it alone, clone; I'd been intending to blog about something I'd noticed vis-a-vis R-Rex and all moi o'er bromances, which is that nice guys Finnish first with the Zill.
So for many guys and gals, there is an attraction to bad boys or bad girls, but that's seldom if e'er/ne'er been the case for moi, 'cuz I've generally found such creatures 1: tiresome and 2: adolescent and 3: not a lot of fun to be around; and I'm the sorta critter who doesn't really enjoy being around other folks in general, so if I am 'round someone by choice they have to be superfunawesome folks.
So I don't really get it when folks go on and on and on about falling for some troubled or misunderstood critter and boo hoo hoo; which is rather fowl of moi, because it shows that I am not quite up to Atticus Finch's stance that one outta put themselves in someone else's shoes ~ Atticus Finch is a character in "To Kill a Mockingbird" ~ a book I'd avoided because I thought 'twas about race relations in Alabama during the bad old days; and it IS set in Alabama during the 1930s and there is a trial around a black man accused of a white woman, but for moi this book isn't really about such stuff; 'tis more about morality and integrity - and not in the blecchy sense that those terms have been used and abused - i.e.: not along the lines of how QBMs throw stones at folks for showing too much ankle or tsk tsk tsking over young folks today with their iPods and sassing their elders { or not wanting to fuck them } ~ Atticus Finch isn't one of those tiresome creatures who holds everyone accountable to some weirdo narrow view of the world, but he is about trying to do what he considers his duty even though the folks 'round him thunk otherwise.
Anywho, I've been enchanted with this book, and 'tis hard to explain why, because from what I've just described it sounds a bit like so much yadayadayada, but it's uber; really really uber. Put it this way, I'm going to start calling MumZilla by her first name, because that's what Atticus' kids did - and of course, I'd always called DadZilla by his first name, and GrandfatherZilla by his first name - although it was actually his nickname, but 'twas his name ne'ertheless.
Ugh, moi shoulders are a bit achy so I'm going to end this slog of a blog - the thing about having sex with someone other than oneself is that one uses muscles one doesn't use otherwise - especially if one usually flies solo. So that's what's the up, pup and I'll post a pic from yesterday's adventure - I took a series of photos and videos of the bus ride North that'll be ZillaMovied as soon as Zillaly possible, so be very very scary

I am finally meeting up with R-Rex later today, and 'tis been a loooooong time; of course, that meet and greet won't be on an upcoming ZillaMovie, because let's face it: I'm better at shooting footage whilst cycling than having sex, and there's zillions upon zillions upon zillions of guys who'd build a better sex film than moi.
So 'tis springtime in Seattle, though today is a bit chilly; which is great because if 'tis warmer and sunnier I'd like being oot oot and aboot, prolly more than having sex - and of course in all honesty I prolly prefer building ZillaFlicks to having sex, which is why 1: there are so many of them and 2: why I'm not all that great at sex.
Anywho, in other news: er, there is no other news, at least not that I'm interested in yadayadayadaing about; and I gotta get ready for moi brush with bromance, 'cuz when bromance comes brushing along one's gotta seize the mome, eh EH!!!
Smooches, Z
BTW: this image was taken on the roof of Starbucks @ Green Lake, and it kinda looks otherworldly to moi, but 'tis entirely of this world - perhaps 'tis otherworldly to folks not of this world

I haven't been in a bloggy MOOOd lately ~ though I have been in a MOOOd where I like to MOOOOOO like a cow, but that's another story; anywho, I built a ZillaMovie and blogged it up o'er there, so I'll post the blog 'cuz it contains other stuff than just yakkola 'bout ZillaFlicks, WHOMP! Here 'tis: So this is perhaps the best ZillaFlick EV, because it contains a killer soundtrack, lots of herky jerky camera work interspliced with still photos, construction porn and beach porn.
This is a sequel to FT13o2012, and features found footage from earlier in the day; and if the 3rd FT13o2012 ever sees the light of the innerwebs, it will feature footage from right after this one ends, although to moi sensibilities it should go even further back in time, but whatEV.
Anywho, as of now I'm working on a ZillaMovie that's a tribute to Robin Gibb, who was in a coma yesterday but might've already died for all I know. WhatEV, he'll die eventually, so e'en though the tribute might be ejaculated a tad prematurely 'twill be done, son. Hopefully he'll die by the time I get it posted, but if not perhaps he'll be thrilled to be remembered before he's kicked off, eh? I love the Bee Gees, and Andy Gibb was awesome too ~ and their music is of course on moi MP3 playlist for running and cycling, so it makes sense to use 'em in ZillaMovies, even if they weren't at death's door. I can't quite recall who Robin was though: either he was the super ugly one or the moderately ugly one. Andy was the cute one, of course, and I think Maurice was the one who was kinda okay - if he's the one in the center of the SNF album?
Anywho, that's today's ZillaBlawg/ZillaFlick and thanx for tuning in ya'll and have an awesomepossum day, eh? EH!
Smooches, Z
BTW: an image that is an outtake from a "Zilla & Da Bandit" kinda MOOOvie; I love this pic, but it didn't quite work in the last ZillaMovie but 'twill live here so all's whale that ends in Hell, eh EH

So another blog, and I'm not really in a mood to blog so I'll copy and paste the blog from o'er there to o'er here, although natch you'll have to ignore the references to ZillaMovies - though I'll post a pic from yesterday's awesome cyclin' adventure to make up for it, eh Anywho, here 'tis:
I'd intended to post the sequel to Friday the 13 of 2012, but when I watched it after uploading it I decided to pimp it up a bit; but ne'er fear, 'cuz there's yet another ZillaMovie that I should've actually blogged long ago, 'cuz 'twas built on Ape Foo's Day, and it would've been a delightful trick to play on folks, eh?
This ZillaMovie: cycling footage from Eastlake to downtown ~ and even though there is some rawther spectacual building and architectural porn on evidence here, I remember vividly that right after I shot the last image from this movie moi SD card was full; and I happened to miss some money-shot sunset porn shortly thereafter, and 'tis often the case that I get the best shots after I quit filming.
Regardlest, this one once again contains the soundtrack from CE3K, 'cuz I am reobsessed with the film and the msic all o'er again - I even went back and watched the "Special Edition," which I'd seen in 1980 and didn't like - especially the scenes where Roy goes inside the Mothership - I'd thought that scene was unnecessary and boring, but it wasn't as bad as I recall - kinda like how Star Wars II: Attack of the Preeks wasn't as bad when I caught a bit of it on the telly instead of at the midnight screening when 'twas released (though it wasn't all that good).
So that's today's ZillaFilm and feel free to text and yak it up during this screecher feature, 'cuz one cantaloupe always behave oneself, elf. Eh? Smooches, Z
OK, the pic is of Shilshole Harbour and features a sculpture that reminds moi of the rib that was brung out to the Flintstones and toppled their automobile during the opening credits, or was it the closing credits Gah, early senility is a beach!

So even though i can't embed a ZillaMovie here, I can upload a photo that was used in this epic. Anywho, I'm going to cut and paste the blog from over there over here and call it a blog, 'cuz even though it doesn't contain a movie 'tis still lots and lots of words and whatnot, robot.
So yet another ZillaFlick sees the light of the innerwebs, and this was taken last Saturday during a sunny late afternoon.
Anywho, this ZillaMovie was taken over by the soundtrack, which is from Close Encounters of the Third Kind; because the music is so evocative that it adds a wonderfully creepy and eerie quality to the operation ~ and then it dissolves into something more uplifting and affirmational ~ and that's what I love about the Close Encounters soundtrack, because for moi 'tis really what 'tis all about.
Anywho, I am also working on a ZillaMovie that combines a perfect trifecta of tunes from 1977 that I find uplifting and affirmational - but not in a Hallmarky sense; actually, there'll be four tune, but given that two are from CE3K I'm calling it three - the other two are, of course, from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, and Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" album;
~ and those are three popular cultural references that informed moi youth, so it makes perfect sense to use 'em as an homage to the way I was and the way I am, which is entirely the same but completely different.
Anywho, in other news I've been slathering on Aloe Vera lotion, because I'm sunburned ~ I'd laid out in the sun the other day and kinda drifted off, and of course there's been buckets of sun lately so apparently fried Zilla is what's the up, pup. So that's today's post and hope all is well in your neck of the woods or city, eh? EH!
Smooches,
Z
