'I Love Brett Favre, Part Deux!'

Yeah, well, I've written about Brett before ('I Love Brett Favre, and Other Thoughts...'), and what happened this spring and summer between Brett and the Packers just made me sick and bothered the bejeesus out of me ('bejeesus is a Wisconsin word- well, a Northern word, anyway- along with 'smelt', 'doncha know', and 'for crimany sakes'... which, put together in a totally Wisconsin-type phrase, would read, 'Oh, the smelt today scared the bejeesus out of me, for crimany sakes, doncha know'...)
Well, I think the endgame between the Packers and Brett ended fittingly, I do support Aaron Rogers and Our Packers
But I still have a Very Deep Man-Love for Brett Favre, and I've been following his exploits with the New York Bretts pretty closely- watching what games I could (I'm not paying extra for no NFL Cable package- ain't happening)...
Anyway, to make a stupid post short, I eagerly anticipated today's game between the Undefeated Tennessee Titans, and the New York Bretts in Tennessee...
The first Favre drive of the game was just like any of his classic Green Bay moments... drove the team down the field, a perfect 7 for 7 throwing the ball, and the New York Bretts had the early lead, 7-0...
And it only got better as the game went on- final score, Bretts 34, Tennessee 13
I love you, Brett- in the Good Times, and in New York- Brett, You're My Man!!

'So, I Woke Up This Morning, Got Out Of Bed, And My Bad Tooth Was Lying On The Floor...'

Actually, it happened more like this; got up, went downstairs, got a glass of Spicy V-8, came back up, fired up the comp and started looking at porn (and reading the New York Times, of course)- Tiger called me about 5 minutes later, and we chatted for a bit while he had some free time today(he's taking some College Wrestling Team from some University near Chicago to Columbia, Missouri- it's going to be a Very Long Drive non-stop for him, and a Very Long Day, Indeed)...
Got off the phone with Bobby, figured I should get myself ready to do my Saturday errands, went over to my bed to take my jammies off-
And I saw something very odd on the floor...
I'm thinking, 'What the fuck is that? What the fuck has Squeaky dragged up from the basement now?' Bent over to pick up 'what-ever-it was' to throw it away
And found my Bad Tooth (that's been very loose for about 2 months or so, and has been very painful at times, and I've been actually hoping it would fall out soon...).
I have a history of my teeth just 'falling out', going back about 20 years or so, when one of my front teeth got loose on its own, and was about to come out- I had to get a cap for that one, very painful, and very expensive... and it's not like I didn't take care of them, I went to the dentist regularly, and even submitted to a deep root cleansing, which is also very painful, and very expensive...
But they kept coming out- my molars kept getting loose, and there was nothing the dentist could do to save any of them... when I got my upper plate put in, and he wanted to do another deep root cleansing to save the lower teeth, that's when I gave up- 'cuz it didn't do any good the first time, and it's not gonna do any good this time...
I feel like Seth Brundle in the remake of 'The Fly', parts of my body falling off... it's somewhat disgusting, but also somewhat fascinating... I was gonna take a picture of it, but the Kid took the camera with her on her 'WeekEnd GetAway'- probably a good thing that she did, 'cuz it might have been in bad taste... not that 'being in bad taste' ever stopped me before...
Oh, and my gums where my tooth was are perfectly healthy- no redness, irritation... my gums probably feel better with that unhealthy tooth out of the way...
Sigh... it sucks gettin' old

and so is the Internet, and so is Internet Free Radio- I've mentioned Jango before (don't EVEN ask me how to find it, op won't let anyone post websights- and mostly everyone that has access to the Internet, and therefore this post, has a search engine they like- you'll find it)
so, anyway, i'm just sittin' and groovin' to Charlie Parker, along with 'sum of his friends- Mingus is playing right now- very good music for a Very Cold November Friday Night, and while i should be in a good mood 'cuz it's Happy Friday, things aren't workin' out that way
sumtimes, jazz and blues sound better when you're a bit blue- and it's good fuckin' music, too... my bad...
not much to say, other than my Baby Girl is gone for the weekend, and so is Tiger- he's workin', she's playin'- and i'm stuck in the house with two stupid cats

'Well, It's About 7 Weeks Late, Or So, But IT'S Finally Here!...'

The 'IT' being the 'Christmas Shipping Season', what We in the Shipping Business refer to as, 'Peak' (if you haven't followed my past adventures, or in case you forgot, or if you really just didn't give a shit, I'm a contractor for FedEx Ground- I bring you the shit that you order off the internet... amongst other things...)-
Peak 'normally' starts around the first week of October, or so- not so much the 'presents' and whatnot, more for the retailers- in my little world, the Walmarts and such- but it didn't hit this year... I've been 'remarkably un-busy' starting at about that time, and it's been continuing that way for A Very Long Time, Indeed...
Until today- today started to feel 'A Lot Like Christmas'... it'll be interesting to see if this keeps up, like it should, or if Reality starts to sink in for retailers and consumers, and they realize that they don't have the money to pay for all this shit- or they don't want to spend the money they have, 'cuz they don't know if they'll get a paycheck next week...
OMG... 'A Post About The Economy', from The 'Smudgepot'... now the world is REALLY Off-Kilter!!
(it's not my fault, really, it's Tiger's Fault- he's makin' me read the 'New York Times', of all things- seriously- he called me tonight, said, 'what'cha doin?', and I said, 'I'm reading the Times, like you tole' me too!!'... my bad...)
K, I wanted to kill about 45 minutes before I went to bed, and I'm almost there- I have been wanting to write a post about the economy, from a FedEx Dude's 'point of view', 'cuz until today, I was startin' to get a bit worried
let's see what happens tomorrow, and next week- until today, i was gettin' a bit 'sceered'...

'Spoiled Brat Kid Now Has Unlimited Texting!!'

Yeah, so, anyway- the 'Spoiled Brat Kid' (that would make a great title for a spaghetti Western- 'The Spoiled Brat Kid Rides Off To Pecos'...) and I have been having 'sum 'disagreements' ever since she graduated in June, over her use of texting on her phone- I've told her, and told her, and bitched at her about it, that sending text messages are 25 cents each- but the damn kid doesn't listen, or says she can't help it, people are texting her... it's been a problem, and last month it was $20.25 for 81 texts... 'No Allowance For You!!', was the message she got yesterday...
Well, my Adventure This Morning started with checking out the Verizon websight (Bobby wants me to switch to Verizon- then he can call me, I can call him, and it's free anytime)- then I checked out the US Cellular websight, and found that I could add 'Unlimited Texting' for $14.95 a month
$14.95 is less than the $20.25 I spent last month- 'Ergo, Spoiled Brat Kid Now Has Unlimited Texting'...
The Very Nice Lady that helped me add this (and increase my bill- Damn Kids!!) made sure to put it on her line only (I don't text anyone, and it's another ten bucks to add me!), and I can track the usage over the next couple of months, to see how many texts the Spoiled Brat Really Needs To Send (see, it's $14.95 for unlimited, $9.95 for 750 texts, and $4.95 for 250... money is scarce around here, if I can cut that back, I will!!)...
Anyway, I just felt like posting 'sumthin' stupid- there's a lot going on here in Blogland, U.S.A. this weekend, including, but not limited to, the sudden disappearance of Bill and Kole (which really makes me fume on the inside- totally ridiculous, and I would'nt blame either for not coming back- this place- OP- is turning into a cesspool)-
this ain't important, i usually don't post anything that is- i just thought that y'all could sleep better tonight if you knew

Well, I was thinkin' that I wanted to post sumthin', and earlier in the day I felt like it- but then I visited the mechanics at the terminal to get a copy of a bill that I thought that I needed (which I didn't, but that's another story, entirely...), and they let me know that I need new injectors for my truck's engine- which is really expensive, and that put me in a very good mood, indeed- and then when I got home, I got a letter from a health care credit card that I've used in the past (basically, it's a deal that if you can pay the balance off in a year, there's no interest charge- I used it to get my upper plate, and I was hoping to use it in the spring to get a lower plate- I have really, really bad teeth....)- the letter stated that they were cancelling that card (no new teeth for Smudgie) because of

there's only one account that's delinquent, and that's the ex-wife's loan for her brat's college...

i've had about $10,000 of truck repairs to pay for this year- and they get paid on time, each month...

i was missin' bobby, too- he's going to uw-river falls, with a bunch of chain-smoking women on ice (that is soooo bobby's line, and he's gonna kill me for stealin' it- when he said that to me tonight on the phone, i told him that would make a great blog- but, since i know he won't use it, it's ok for me to steal)
i was missin' him, i had all this other stuff goin' on, and all i wanted to do was cry- and i did, but not for long
for what it's worth, i feel a bit better now- i listened to an older show, heard your voice- felt like you were there with me, remembered being with you when we made it
i wish you would've given me that cd, though... i could use it about right now

Yes, it's true- 'Tiger Tantrum' is not just a breakfast cereal anymore! ('MOM!! Bobby keeps puttin' his greasy paws in my cereal!!' 'Oh, Hush now, Smudgie, finish your cereal and get ready for school- and make sure you wipe this time when you use the bathroom)...
Nope, 'Tiger Tantrum' is now the Newest Show from the Bamboo Studios, available for Your Listening Pleasure- I figure that anyone who was interested in the show has already listened to it, so you know how to find it, and if you haven't yet, then you probably won't (which is a darn shame, 'cuz I really think it's gettin' better- the timing is better, a bit faster paced... possibly)- but if you've listened in the past, a New Show is here, chock-full of Music, Comedy, and some Racy Bits... my bad...

Dateline, Tuesday, November 4th, 2008- The Full Story can be found at the New York Post online, and at CNN online... Tiger was right...

Yeah, I learned that just now, talking to Tiger on the phone- see, this is how our relationship is working right now- Monday through Friday I get to talk to him on the phone for a short while, sometimes see him for a sleepover- but on weekends, such as this, he's almost always working; so, he calls me a lot- as I write this, he's in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, with the Lake Forest College Women's Hockey Team playing St. Thomas Academy- but that's not important right now...
what is important is that i spend my weekends attached to my cell phone, talking to bobby while he's on the road- for hours at a time, while he disseminates wisdom to me... my bad...
I haven't written a 'I Love You, Bobby!' post in a very, very long time- right now, that's all I want to do-
i'm so lucky i met you- you are the bestest, buddy, and i can't wait to talk to you again tonight, and see you tomorrow

'Don't Mind Him, He Comes Over To Watch TV... He Can't afford Cable...'

Yeah, that's what Tiger said to the Cable Guy last night... we were enjoying a Very Nice Evening Together, after an Extremely Nice Dinner of Boneless Pork Chops (cooked in Bobby's Special Way), Fresh Corn, and a Fresh Salad... had a Nice Little Rolling
Bee, rollin' 'sum more cancer sticks for a nickel a pop- gotta love that!- and then we adjourned to the living room, to watch a repeat of the Daily Show Election Night Special (Tiger couldn't believe that Mr. Obama had won, and he wanted to watch it again... my bad...).
So, anyway, during the course of the night, I must'of went off to go pee, 'cuz when I had sat back down, Bobby is outside talking to someone (I'm really not the kind of person that likes to eavesdrop... really, I'm not... but I was Very Curious, Indeed, about what could be going on out on Tiger's Door Step. Turns out it was 'sum Cable Dude, going door-to-door to cable customers, offering them freebies so they don't switch to AT&T...
Anyway, Tiger got 'talked into the deal', which most likely is going to cost him a whole hellova lot of money, and brought the Cable Dude inside to 'Sign Zee Papers'...
And that's what he said to the Dude when they came in- 'Don't Mind Him, He Comes Over To Watch TV... He Can't afford Cable...'
bobby, you are simply the best- you are funny as hell, and you make every moment i'm with you special, in ways you'll never know
that was funny as hell... i about bust a gut after i heard that...

'Stop Taking My Stuffed Animals!'

editor's note: this is a follow-up to the previous post, 'Playin' With My Tiger!!'- the shit has hit the fan...
Yeah, so, anyway- I spent last night at the Bamboo Mansion in Delavan- Tiger and I had a wonderful night, starting with Bobby's Fried Chicken, Fried Rice (he had 'sum spinach from a can- I think he's trying to be like Popeye), watched 'sum Monday Night Football, watched Mr. Obama and the other guy at halftime, and managed to squeeze in 'sum Very Unmentionable, Un-Christian-Like Acts during that time (and my body is still a-quiver from all that!! Thank You, Tiger!!)
Spent the night at Bobby's house, left there early this morning, got home about 4:50 A.M. to get in the shower and get ready for work
and when i came into my room, i found a Very Large Note on my chair

Apparently, Elizabeth must'of come home 'sum time yesterday, for 'sumthin', and saw the Tiger on my bed, and the Monkey by the phone, and got pissed about it (pissed enough to write a scary note!! She's still got that artist's touch in her, she managed to draw 5 lines very quickly, and the face she made looks very scary, and very pissed off!!)...
Personally, I thought it was funny as hell... and makes me want to take 'sum more... I do know for sure that I'm going to save this note- I hope you can appreciate the humor in it...
OK, short little post from me- I apologize profusely that tonight, Election Night 2008, that I didn't write something about the candidates, or the vote, but I am tracking it- I got a tab open on my browser on CNN, tracking the electoral vote as it comes in, (in between looking at pictures of naked t-girls) and I plan on watching the coverage on the networks (after a repeat of last night's 'Daily Show', that Bobby has got me hooked on... I may or may not watch 'The Cobert Report'... Bobby likes him, but he just annoys me...).
Anyway, take care, My Daughter Hates me, and I have to Stay Away from the Stuffed Animals in My Closet... have a Good Tuesday...
