I was lying there in bed last night.... This sounds like it could be the start of some cheesy solo flick. No honestly! I was thinking that there are so many profiles that say they are looking for more. What's more to them? Their profiles say insert a witty statement here and such. Then they write a blog about themselves saying how great they are and they only want to meet new people to try and make friends. I am one of those people. I don't want to spend my life alone. I think I have something in common with them and send a little quick letter saying something like "Your profile looks great! I am looking for exactly the same. Hey email me and let's start talking." Now I must be the only pathetic one out there that honestly thinks that people will write them back. I would say that only 1 out of 10 will send you a little quick icebreaker back and not even take the time to email you back. Where did I go wrong? I like to think that I am a good looking guy with a great personality. I am over weight but very few people are toothpicks now adays. I have found that those that are toothpicks throw themselves at every hot guy that comes along just to have a 1 night stand with the goal of "gettin some". So I think that I have a bit of class. Yes I think you are attractive but the dating scene can be so confusing for me. What's the "right" move to make next? I am a down to earth honest guy. I am looking for the same. I think that he is out there and that I might have a good chance of meeting him if I have a great profile and send off little emails saying "(see above)". Lying there in bed thinking ............ "Yeah keep dreaming!"
