Hi ladies and well behaved (single or divorced) guys,
I'm an attractive transexual looking for someone to connect with.
Review my FAQs below and lets chat if you like... Standard members wink and I'll get back to you...
Q: Are you a TV, CD... a, 'guy in a dress'?
A: Um, no. Perhaps you are confusing what a transexual is with a cross dresser, or transvestite. Not that there is anything at all wrong with being those things (geeez, sure would have been easier) but it really is a different condition.
Q: Oh. Cool. So what's the real difference?
A: Transexuals have decided to live life as the opposite sex from which they were born. In order to accomplish that rather enormous endeavor, one first goes through (sometimes years) of hormone therapy and specialized counseling. This leads to drastic physical and mental changes that are all part of a medically supported (Harry Benjamin Gender Dysphoria Standards of Care) gender transition program done, under our US health care delivery system. The process is long and usually quite agonizing and sometimes includes as many as five different surgeries.
The desired end result is to blend back into society in the preferred gender.
Q: What physical affects do hormones have over time?
A: Soft tissue is... softer. Fat redistributes to butt and hips more, breasts.
Q: What about mental affects?
A: Let's face it: Guys and gurls think differently... Venus and Mars I think they say. A (major US) medical school measured brain activity of both MTF and FTM transitioners over time while on hormone therapy. The results of that study demonstrate why I 'think like a girl'.
Venus? Mars? I'm... ummm - not sure! lol - the girl one.
Q: Is it OK for me to send you a picture of my penis in my first message?
A: Hey, it's not that I'm not interested in seeing what all of your 'parts' look like, but it really isn't something I need to see in your first message to me. If we hit it off... I can always ask, right?
Q: Do you "go out in public as a woman"?
A: It actually takes *years* of hormones to have any sort of drastic changes... for any female. Consider that a teenage girl doesn't mature in just a few months... it takes years from the onset of hormones to maturity... same thing with my situation.... the point is that its been SIX YEARS now... so , while I have ass, hips, butt, soft skin, etc... the MAJOR changes are in my BRAIN - I think more like a woman than a lot of women! I really am a different person, all the way to my voice....
So, knowing the above... How would you propose that I not "go out in public as a woman"? Besides being a lil confused what "as" means, of course I do! In other words, for me, cross dressing would mean wearing a mans clothes.
Q: Do you think you are clever - using this whole Q & A thingy?
A: Yes, very. I think educating people about what transexualism is - and isn't - is hugely important. It also makes for a good introduction to what I'm about as a person. Right?
Enough about me... lets talk about...
